Artist Books offer a unique medium which combines collage, sculptural and sequential elements to convey an idea or series into a neat package. Each of these books explores environmental concerns; many were created during the Covid years while in isolation. They describe the ubiquitous intrusion of the environment by the virus as we navigated the world through that time period. The combined map-weaves and plant and animal images speak to the breakdown of our resolve to protect the environment and the dysfunction of our leadership to address the problem in a unified approach. The "Memory Box" series is represented by the cigar box book describing a recent trip to Morocco. All of the images are original.
