Last day for this 30/30! I wanted to create something really pretty and inviting for the last post of this challenge. This is one of my favorite walks, the Left Hand Trail, about 10 minutes from my house. Enjoy and thanks for tuning in!
30/30 Day 29
Ice Study - these are images of Mackintosh Lake in Longmont taken last winter when it was frozen. I took several images of different patterns on different days. Putting them together and then rendering them in black and white evened out the lighting variations and made the piece more cohesive. Enjoy and thanks for visiting!
30/30 Day 26
I took one of my favorite photographs of the Flatirons and converted it to an “oil painting” using Photoshop filters. I think the technique works really well with this particular image. The key is to start with a strong photograph and enhance it with filters rather than to try to save a less-than image. Thanks for visiting!
30/30 Day 23
Another interrupted landscape. I like the interruptions to the dog and the people in this lakescape. I like the addition of people and pets to this scene. Thanks for viewing!
30/30 Day 21
This was my walk this morning after work. Enjoy! And thanks for visiting.
30/30 Day 20
This was another fun one. I really enjoy these interrupted landscapes. Enjoy and thanks for visiting!
30/30 Day 18
This one is a little different; I’ve combined several elements to create a kind of mirror effect. It reminds me of Stonehenge and 2001. Enjoy! And thanks for visiting.
3/30 Day 17
A beautiful hike just south of Boulder. These are the moments from the hike, collaged together as remembered. Thanks for visiting!
30/30 Day 16
Clouds and lights: I have to remind myself to look up. This little collage is a celebration of our beautiful Colorado skies. Enjoy and thanks for visiting!
30/30 Day 13
This is what it feels like to walk through these landscapes. The rocky, twisty trail, the constantly changing vistas. It’s never one scene, but a dynamic stroll through a path of discovery. Thanks for visiting!
